Background
Midnite is a colorblind, six-armed troll living in the streets, feeding off of little children and other smaller mammals. She learned magic tricks on her own to land a job in the local circus but was kicked out coz she kept on eating audiences even before they pay the show. One evening, she chanced upon an angel-winged but claustrophobic young fairy whose carriage was stuck in a thick mud. The fairy has a magic wooden staff that Midnite instantly liked upon seeing, so to get near it, she pretended to help. The fairy let her guard down and introduced herself as Flora, an egoistic fashion designer. She happily told Midnite that she's about to attend an eat-all-you-can-buffet grand party to celebrate the birth of a princess. Hearing about FOOD, Midnite immediately killed Flora and used the magic staff to assume her identity.
She then went to the party and used her foot to kick the gate which gave way easily with a loud crashing sound. Startled, the other two fairies accidentally released their magic and revealed Midnite's real identity. Thinking they themselves transformed her into a hideous troll, the two fairies switched Midnite back to the body she was in when she crashed the gate. The spell took a wrong turn somewhere though as it permanently merged Flora's and Midnite's bodies and personalities together that even the troll herself thought she was actually the real Flora, with newly acquired memories and abilities that is. At that point, Midnite developed an attention disorder as her two personalities (a 17 yr-old fairy and an 8 yr-old troll) constantly battle each other for dominance.
The fairies then proceeded with the ceremony when the king and queen arrived with their baby daughter and Midnite (aka Flora) is the first one to give her gift. She thought about it first and after five long hours of thinking and rethinking, Midnite finally realized the gift should be something that no one could easily steal without being harmed. She then gave the gift of beauty to the girl and ordered the king and queen to lock the child up in the tower during full moon. Turns out the princess would transform into a werewolf during a full moon, a gift anyone would die for if they try to take away, but of course Midnite didn't tell them about that.
At the time the fourth fairy barged in and cast her death spell to the princess, Midnite heard the maids talking about a place ruled by a queen named Alice and how the fourth fairy could have taken her magic from there. Seeing how powerful the fourth fairy is, Midnite thought she might as well live in that place and acquire that kind of power. At least that was her first plan, but the two fairies convinced her to live in the forest with them and the princess. Midnite's Flora-side agreed and she forgot all about Queen Alice's kingdom.. until she finds a stray black cat carrying the queen's invitation.
